Yeezy is always showing up where he’s least expected

Though he’s always showing up in places you wouldn’t expect him to be, there’s still really no bigger “special surprise guest” you can have on your lineup than Kanye West. When Common announced his inaugural AAHH! Fest back in August, Yeezy wasn’t officially billed, but Sunday night he showed up in classic form, running through a set of some of his most crowd-pleasing hits including “Jesus Walks,” “Power,” “Mercy,” and “Clique.” Kanye closed out his set in Chicago’s Union Park with Common on stage for a rendition of their collaborative track “Get ‘Em High.” Common also brought out Vince Staples and Jay Electronica to perform a forthcoming remix of his own “Kingdom.” You can catch some shaky and distorted fan-shot video both above and below.
