Liam Gallagher has announced that his band Beady Eye has split up after five years. He offered no reason why they were disbanding.

The band formed in 2009 and was made up of Gallagher, former Oasis members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and drummer Chris Sharrock.

Gallagher’s tweet read:
