Coldplay Releases Video for ‘All Your Friends’ in Honor of Those Who Fought in WW1

Coldplay released a music video yesterday (November 7) for the Ghost Stories bonus track “All Your Friends” featuring black and white World War I footage.

The band states the video is presented “in memory of all those from all nations who fought in the First World War.” Remembrance Day, also known as Poppy Day, is celebrated on November 11 each year to commemorate the official end of fighting during WWI “at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.”

“All your friends think, ride into the sunset, fly into the sunset, and away we’re thrown into the fire,” frontman Chris Martin sings.
