“Home” is Raising Awareness for Climate Change with Common, Ne-Yo, and More

HOME  is  a project to raise awareness about climate change and “expand the climate movement.” The EP version of HOME will be available as a free download on iTunes from Nov. 18 to Nov. 24 . The project’s website says, “Climate change is the most significant global issue of our time. Climate change is happening now, and people are already suffering and it’s only going to get worse unless we come together to make big change. Together we can Heal Our Mother Earth (HOME) and fight climate change. Music brings us together and can inspire action.”  Artists on the album include Elle Varner, Ne-Yo, and Crystal Waters, as well as those listed below.

On one song, Common collaborated with Malik Yusef, Kumasi, Aaron Fresh, Choklate, and Laci Kay the song, “Trouble in the Water.”

Another  single is a cover of “Mercy Mercy Me” by Antonique Smith. Listen to Smith’s version of the classic Marvin Gaye track.
