Girlpool’s debut album, Before the World Was Big, is based on the experiences of losing your innocence and growing up in a world of disillusionment. In an interview with SPIN last month, Girlpool’s Harmony Tividad and Cleo Tucker explained that their upcoming  debut album will touch on growing up and figuring out life’s different chapters while “constantly developing and changing.”

On their latest cut, Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad share a tale of friends growing up in seemingly quiet places, before life spirals out of control and the simple things become big challenges.
