Streep plays a rocker in her latest movie Ricki and the Flash. in preparation for the role,  Meryl met with the Neil Young for a guitar lesson.

Never do anything half assed, Director Jonathan Demme told Entertainment Weekly that Streep was so dedicated to learning guitar that she played it until her fingers bled.
