Macklemore’s New Song For His Daughter Will Give You The Feels
Macklemore announced on his website that not only does he have a new daughter, but also a new song, “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)” Feat. Ed Sheeran.
He writes, “Our daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty was born two months ago on May 29. There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe. She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her.”
One Direction Release First Single Without Zayn Malik
The new track “Drag Me Down” is the first since Zayn Malik’s departure four months ago.
One Direction is currently on tour in the United States, and the group will return to the U.K. in September. The band announced in a press release that their fifth album will be released this November.
A Great Big World Return With ‘Hold Each Other’
Award-winning duo A Great Big World return this week with a brand new single on Epic Records, “Hold Each Other.”
The duo of Ian Axel and Chad King made music history with their #1 global hit “Say Something” with Christina Aguilera. Their sophomore album is due out later this year and “Hold Each Other” is the first track we have heard.
Axel and King explain, “We are hoping that we can inspire people, even just a little, to fearlessly speak their truth when it comes to who they are and who they love.”

Demi Lovato’s Summer Scorcher is Finally Out — “Cool for the Summer”
Demi Lovato just released her new song “Cool for Summer” today. The jam is a new sound for Lovato. It is definitely more mature and WE LOVE IT!
Demi spoke to MTV news recently and stated, “For this album, I’m making music that feels right to me. This time around, I was able to explore different sounds, and hone in on something that I’m really proud of. I’m inspired by something every day so those experiences will definitely be reflected on my next album.”
The song will appear on Demi’s yet to be titled fifth album, and if the rest of the songs are as catchy as this we’re in for a treat.
