Jimmy Napes Debuts New Song “Making of Me”

You heard his name a lot at the Grammys on Sunday, but you might not know him yet.

Jimmy Napes picked up four Grammy Awards on Sunday night, three of which were for his work on Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour.

Today, Napes released a brand new solo track titled “Making of Me”. “Making of Me” is off Napes’ forthcoming EP of the same name, due out March 9th

Jimmy Napes might not be a name or face that you are familiar with, but you should be. The UK singer-songwriter/producer wrote some of the biggest pop hits to grace the airwaves the last few years: co-wrote Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be”, and Disclosure’s “Latch.”

Now, after working behind-the-scenes for years, Napes is looking to do his own thing with his first EP, The Making of Me, due out on March 9th.
