The 1975 reveal new song ‘Medicine’, taken from BBC Radio 1’s alternative ‘Drive’ soundtrack

The 1975 have unveiled their addition to BBC Radio 1’s rescoring of the cult movie Drive.

Many artists have come together to build a new soundtrack to the 2011 Ryan Gosling film. Other artists include Chvrches, Jon Hopkins,Bastille, Baauer, Banks, Bring Me The Horizon, Eric Prydz, Laura Mvula, The Neighbourhood and ZCC (Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil).

The 1975’s song is titled ‘Medicine’ and can be heard below.

Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat” drops

Lorde returns today with her first single for  The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 “Yellow Flicker Beat.” Produced by Paul Epworth, this track melds Lorde’s darkness with a great pop beat.

Lorde was also charged with curating the rest of the artists appearing on the soundtrack. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is set to hit theaters on November 21st.

Stream Trent Reznor’s New ‘Gone Girl’ Score

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' soundtrack to the film Gone Girl comes out Sept. 30.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ newest collaboration is officially available to stream.

The duo’s score to Gone Girl, David Fincher’s upcoming film, is now streaming via NPR’s First Listen.  It marks the third collaboration between Reznor and Ross for a Fincher film, following 2010’s The Social Network score and 2011’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

The collaboration on Social Network earned Reznor and Ross an Oscar for best original score, while the latter scored a nomination in the same category at the Golden Globes.
