Rising Star’s Dana Williams and Singer and Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester sat down and preformed a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams and it is really good.

If you know me then you know my hatred for anything Stevie Nicks, but this I can handle.  Williams’ EP, The Lonely One, is out now.

Iggy Azalea – Black Widow ft. Rita Ora

In the Director X-directed video, Iggy and Rita seek revenge on an ex-boyfriend. Iggy is a diner girl serving Rita  and her rude date (played by Reservoir Dogs‘ Michael Madsen). His BLT didn’t live up to his very high BLT standards, so he explodes.  This leaves Iggy to day-dream about an alternate life of kicking major ass. Ariana Grande Slows it Down with Big Sean in ‘Best Mistake’: Listen

Two weeks out from My Everything‘s official release, Grande has dropped another full track to tease her second album’s release, with the Big Sean-featuring “Best Mistake” hitting iTunes yesterday.

According to E! News, Ariana is dating the 26-year-old rapper. The duo first teamed up for “Right There,” from her debut album Yours Truly.

This Day in Music History — August 7

1963 : Beach Party, starring Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello, opens in theaters. It’s the first of many movies with a beach theme, and it features music by the Surf-Rock pioneer Dick Dale. 24 years later, Frankie and Annette appear in Back To The Beach, where they are now parents of crazy teenagers.

2008 : The Police wrap up their reunion tour at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Their first tour since 1986, it lasts 151 shows and finishes as the third highest-grossing of all time.

2011 : Marshall Grant (upright bassist for the Tennessee Two, Johnny Cash’s backing band) dies of an aneurysm at age 83 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

2012 : Grayson County, Texas police respond to a call and discover Country singer Randy Travis lying naked in the road and smelling of alcohol. Travis had crashed his vehicle into a construction zone just previously. In fact, there was an earlier call the same day from a convenience store owner, who said Travis had entered his store – still naked – and tried to buy cigarettes, but left when he realized he had no money. Travis is booked for DWI and resisting arrest, tying on another in a string of run-ins with the law.

2012 : Madonna plays a concert in Moscow during which she expresses support for the group Pussy Riot, who have been jailed for performing their song “Mother Of God, Putin’s Run” in a Moscow cathederal.

Sam Smith ‘I’m Not the Only One’ Video

What a sad yet soulful video. The song tells the tale of a couple dealing with infidelity, and the vid enlists The Mindy Project’s Chris Messina and Glee’s Dianna Agron.

“I’ve never been in a relationship before and I really wanted to make an album that was about love,” Smith previously told Billboard about his work. “But in different forms of love — so unrequited love and loneliness. I’ve been brutally honest in the album.”
